AEL Mining Services has a strong presence in Europe through Minexplo, a joint venture company established in 2008 with the EPC Groupe. Operating in all major European countries, the EPC Groupe provide an ideal channel partner for AEL in Europe.

Through EPC Groupe Companies, Minexplo provides Euronel non-electric detonators, as well as UBS (Undergound Bulk Systems) to leading quarries and mines throughout Europe. Minexplo has a shock tube assembly facility at EPC-UK’s facilities in Derbyshire, England as well as an expanding range of UBS charging units at strategic points throughout Europe, supporting both mining and tunnelling applications.

AEL's objective, through its joint venture operation, is to supply the market with high tech premier explosives products, backed by a strong technical R&D infrastructure, as well as a wide range of services.
